Keith Dunn
Keith Dunn is a founding partner of Capitol Dynamics, LLC. Mr. Dunn has more than 15 years of experience in the legislative and regulatory arenas in California and Washington D.C. working for 2 statewide business associations prior to forming Capitol Dynamics with his partners, David Kennett and Cliff Moriyama. Mr. Dunn has an extensive background on issues ranging from transportation project delivery, land use, design-build, and public-private partnerships. Mr. Dunn started his professional career in politics working for the United States House of Representatives. While working for the House, he worked on natural resources issues focusing on land use policy, natural resources, infrastructure and military base issues, working closely with both federal and state agencies, project proponents and other Congressional offices and committees.
Keith has worked for the California Building Industry Association (CBIA) focusing on amending the Endangered Species Act and flood protection.
Mr. Dunn is the principal lobbyist for the American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACEC-CA) and the Infrastructure Delivery Council (IDC), representing the association(s) before the state legislature and various regulatory agencies on transportation, land development, water resources, environmental, design-build and state agency contract issues. Mr. Dunn has worked to secure the passage of Proposition 35, Proposition 42, Propositions 1A-1E and the High Speed Rail Bond. In addition Mr. Dunn represent the California Apartment Association with over 2 milliion rental units in California and the Self Help Counties Coalition which is made of 19 California Counties who spend over $3 billion annually on California transportation projects. Mr. Dunn represents many other corporate and non-profit organizations.
Keith, his wife Brenda and daughter Casey live in Chico where they enjoy outdoor activities, traveling and family. Keith graduated from UC Davis in 1993 with a degree in US History where he was captain of the UC Davis football team.
